SAMBA, Apr 21: Baba Mahal Dev Memorial Volleyball tournament commenced at Suneriki Mandir, here today.
The tournament was inaugurated by Narayan Singh, former president of Shree Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha Jammu & Kashmir. 16 teams are participating in this tournament.
Seven matches were played on the first day of the tournament on knockout basis. The tournament was attended by a large number of youth which showed a healthy competition and kept them away from drugs and other bad things. The locals appreciated the organizers for organizing such a type of tournament in rural areas by involving youth.
Prominent persons including Rakesh Sambyal, Shiv Charan Singh, Prof. Gulcharan Singh, Jaidev Singh, Shamba Singh, Amardeep Singh, Pushap Raj Singh, Rajoul Singh, Raj Singh and others were present during the tournament.
The tournament was organized by Baba Mahal Dev Rajput Sambyal Biradari Sabha.
