JAMMU, Apr 24: Dr. Nirmal Singh asked JDA to clear the cases pertaining to Urban Transport Environment Improvement Committee (UTEIC) permissions. He said that the order pertaining to the non-requirement of UTEIC certificate for the building permission to be acquired from the Jammu Development Authority (JDA) has long been circulated under the official orders from the Department. Subsequently, Divisional Commissioner Jammu (Chairman UTEIC) has also cleared air on the matter asking various departments to not to linger on the building permission cases for the want of UTEIC permissions, he added.
“BJP is concerned about the issues faced by the masses. The party is up for the sensitive approach to all the issues”, stated Dr. Nirmal Singh.
Dr. Nirmal Singh, accompanied by J&K BJP secretary Veenu Khanna, and BJP Maha Sampark Abhiyaan Department in charge, Ankush Gupta, was listening to the public grievances at BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here.
Numerous people, individually as well in the form of deputations, visited the BJP office to discuss their respective issues with the senior party leaders. Various issues represented contained matters of individual concerns as well as development oriented related to their respective areas.
A deputation apprised that some people have encroached on the space of the Mata Alkheshwari, Roop Bhawani Mandir of Alakh Sahiba Trust in Laar, Ganderbal. A deputation from Mandal area apprised that they have not been paid compensation for the installation of high tension electric poles in their private lands. A deputation of nomads requested that sufficient vehicles be provided for the shifting of their livestock. Another deputation apprised that the repair works on the road connecting Chamba and Bhaderwah are delayed leading to the problems to the commuters especially for the Mani Mahesh travelers.
Besides, various personal issues, other main issues presented related to PHE, PDD, roads, lanes, drains etc.
Dr. Nirmal Singh who listened to all the individuals and the deputations took up the matters with the concerned departmental officials telephonically as well as issued letters for the others. Talking to the concerned authorities, he pressed for the prompt redressal of the issues.
