Srinagar, Apr 24: A man was shot at and injured by gunmen in Marhama area of Bijbehara in Anantnag district this evening.
An official said that militants fired upon a civilian identified as Aqib Ahmad Dar, son of Mohammad Ismail Dar of Jafer Pora Marhama.
A shopkeeper by profession, Dar was shifted to Government Medical College hospital at Anantnag and his condition is said to be stable.
Security forces immediately reached the spot and the whole area has been cordoned off. A massive hunt has been launched for the militants for targeting Dar.
