JAMMU, Nov 25: High Court has stayed the recent Order No- 611 of 2013 dated 16.11.2013 of J&K State Sports Council, with regard to transfer of coaches, subject to objections from the other side and till next date of hearing.
The petition was filed by six Council coaches including Baljinder Pal Singh (Athletics), Sat Pal Singh (Football), Shaktish Kumar (Basketball), Sushma Jamwal (Basketball), Suraj Bhan Singh (Judo) and Shamas Din.
It is pertinent to mention here that Baljinder Pal was transferred from Kathua to Reasi, Sat Pal from Jammu to Udhampur, Shaktish from Jammu to Udhampur, Sushma from Jammu to Kathua, Suraj Bhan from Jammu to Reasi and Shamas from RS Pura to Doda.
