JAMMU, Nov 26: Pacca Danga police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the last six years.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Pacca Danga Police Station led by SHO Mahesh Sharma under the supervision of SDPO City Kulbir Handa and SP City Yougal Manhas arrested an absconder from Old Rehari.
The absconder has been identified as Ravi Kumar of Old Rehari.
The accused was wanted in a case registered with Pacca Danga Police Station under FIR number 102/2007 under Section 309 RPC.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
