JAMMU, Nov 26: A minor girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Gangyal area.
As per reports, 4-year-old girl was playing outside her residence in Gangyal Garden area, when a 13-year-old boy, who also resides near victim’s home, took her to secluded place and raped her yesterday.
As the girl started crying, the family members rushed to the spot and tried to nab the accused, but he managed to flee from the spot.
The victim was rushed to hospital, where after medical examination the girl was restored to family members.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Gangyal Police Station and manhunt has been launched to arrest the absconding accused.
