SRINAGAR, May 2: A lady accused of stabbing and injuring a youth in Srinagar this afternoon was arrested by police.
One Adil Ahmad Kaloo of Bemina Srinagar was stabbed by knife by his fiancée Asifa Bashir of Parimpora in broad daylight in Chattabal area of Srinagar. As per the relatives of Kaloo, he was stabbed by his fiancé after they had an argument in a market place in Chattabal area of Srinagar.

A video of the spot has gone viral on social media in which Kaloo is seeking help from the passers-by. He was rushed to nearby SMHS hospital where he is being treated for his abdominal wound.
Police said the lady was engaged to the victim and nikaah had also taken place. A case (FIR No 57/2023) has been registered in Police Station Safa Kadal and the accused lady has been arrested.
