JAMMU, May 4: Heritageans proved their mettle in 1st National Inter District Roller Skating Championship, wherein around 3500 speed skaters from all over the country participated.
Vihaan Sharma (Class V) won a Gold medal in Cadet Roller Hockey boys event, while Kumar Vanishree N Verma (Class VI) bagged a Silver medal in sub junior Roller Hockey girls event.
Puneesh Puri, the skating prodigy of Heritage School Jammu yet again added another glorious achievement to his tally of wins. He proved his mettle by clinching 1 Gold medal and 1 Silver medal in 1500 mtrs Road Race and 1000 mtrs Rink race respectively.
With this victory, Puneesh has become the first brand ambassador of Quads category to be felicitated by Rahul Rana, who is himself a National Champion as well as former International Coach of Indian Speed Skating Team.
Puneesh has also received international standard skating equipment and goodies worth rupees one lakh as part of sponsorship from Simmons Rana Racing which sponsors leading international skaters and world champions all around the globe.
The Heritage family wished Puneesh, Vihaan and Vanishree for their success and glory.
