JAMMU, Nov 28: JK Montessorie Sr Secondary School organized State Level Quiz Competition in collaboration with Bharat Vikas Parishad here today.
16 teams from different schools participated in the competition. The participating teams contested in two categories of junior and senior.
In junior category, DPS School Jammu bagged first position, Dogra Hr Secondary School clinched 2nd position and KV No-1 Gandhi Nagar claimed 3rd Position.
In senior category, Environmental Education Institute claimed first position, KC Public school got 2nd and KV No-2, Jammu bagged 3rd position.
According to the organizers, the aim of the quiz competition was to update and aware the students with the present scenario of education in general and help them to identify and solve the challenges of life by acquiring skills knowledge and attitude.
The students were honoured with trophies and certificates distributed by the chief guest, Prof D R Kotwal and guest of honour Rajni Gupta.
Present on the occasion were Arun Sharma, president BVP, Vijay Gupta, State Secretary BVP, Dr Santosh Gupta, Gopal Sharma, Vaneeta Kohli, Romesh Chander Sharma, Amita Sharma and Geeta Dixit.
