JAMMU, May 7: For the second time in a row, spiker Mannat Choudhary from Jammu and Kashmir, a trainee of Sports Authority of India (SAI) Jammu Centre have made into the National Volleyball Camp.
Deputy Director SAI J&K, Nadeem Dar on Sunday while congratulating the spiker for this feat and adding another feather to his cap, said, “SAI trainee at STC Jammu Mannat Choudhary from R S Pura of Jammu district has been selected in Volleyball Indian team Camp again wherein he has already represented Team India in AVC Cup Volleyball Championship held at Thailand last year.”
Dar said that he got a call in the camp on the basis of his splendid performance in 48th Junior National Volleyball Championship held at M A Stadium last year representing J&K.
Dar, however, also acknowledged the efforts of Rajeev Dogra, Volleyball Coach of STC Jammu for his efforts and thanked Lalita Sharma, Regional Director SAI Chandigarh for continuous support to athletes of STC Jammu.
He further praised Volleyball Association of J&K for supporting the talent of Mannat and other spikers.
