JAMMU, Nov 29: Prof (Dr) BS Komal, Head Applied Sciences, MIET Kot Bhalwal, Jammu and former Head, Department of Mathematics, University of Jammu delivered a lecture on the “The Recent Advances in the Open Problems of Mathematics” in the Lecture Series, organized by PG Department of Mathematics, Govt MAM College, here.
Earlier, Dr Chander Shekhar, Head of PG Department of Mathematics presented welcome address, which was followed by another address by Dr Rakesh Gupta, senior most faculty member of the College.
During the lecture Prof Komal explained the progress made by the leading mathematician of the world.
Among others present on the occasion were Prof Sumbodh, Dr TK Sharma, Dr Sushma Chib, Prof Rohini Jamwal and Prof Kanchan.
