REASI, May 14: Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) Reasi bagged Girls U-17 Kabaddi, Kho- Kho and Volleyball titles in the Inter-School Zonal Level Competition which held under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports at General Zorawar Singh Sports Stadium, here today.
In Under-17 category Kabaddi – GGHSS Reasi trounced High School Grah by 3-2 whereas in Under-14, Middle School Upper Seela beat High school Kambal Danga. In total, 433 school going athletes participated in the Competition.
In the finals, Zonal Physical Officer (DYSS) Reasi, Ram Krishan Bhat was the chief guest. He encouraged the teams and interacted with the officials and members of the organizing committee.
In final of Volleyball (Under-17), GGHSS Reasi beat DPS Katra by 3-2. In Kho-Kho (Under-14), High School Kanjali beat Kundrorian Katra whereas in Under-17, GGHSS Reasi beat GHSS Bhagdar.
The matches were conducted under the supervision of DYSS Officer Reasi.
