CHANDIGARH, Nov 30 : Border Security Force and Punjab Police won the men’s and women’s team titles with 130 and 84 points, respectively, in the 62nd All India Police Athletics Championships-2013-14 in Lucknow today. Central Reserve Police Force (114 points) and Punjab Police (97 points) finished second and third, positively, in the men’s team championships.
Kerala Police (72) and CRPF (68.5) got second and third spots, respectively.
Rajiv Kumar of Central Reserve Police Force and Seema Antil of Haryana Police were adjudged the best athletes among men and women.
Points Position: Men: 1 Border Security Force 130 pts, 2 CRPF 114 pts, 3 Punjab Police 97.
Women: 1 Punjab Police 84 pts, 2 Kerala Police 72, 3 CRPF 68.5.
Best Athlete (Men): Rajiv Kumar (CRPF) Long Jump-7.38m (996 pts).
