JAMMU, Dec 1: Urdu monthly magazine Tabasum Hyderabad organized an impressive function here today in which Dr R S Sharma was presented the award of Rs 75,000 by the magazine.
The cheque was handed over to him by Incharge editor of the Magazine Tabasum, Shahida Gori. Dr Sharma was given a standing aviation by the audience on the occasion. A large number of people including intellectuals, writers and poets attended the function. The guests from Kashmir Valley, Delhi, and Chandigarh had also attended the function.
Syed Ismail highlighted the objective of the function and welcomed the suggestions made by gathering.
On the occasion various suggestions were made for developing Urdu language which were welcomed.
