JAMMU, May 18: KC Public School’s junior wing organized a function which was presided over by the School Managing Director Arti Chowdhary at Mandua Open Air Theatre, here today.
She also distributed badges of authority to the newly elected members of the students’ council. The ceremony began with a song on leadership followed by distribution of badges. Thereafter, Head Teacher Sofia Rana administered the oath of office to all members of the council.
The students then presented a short cultural programme consisting of cheer chants, inspirational songs and a vibrant dance highlighting the ethos of the school. The Head Boy and the Head Girl addressed the gathering and expressed their gratitude to their teachers and parents for shaping their characters and personalities.
They also thanked the School support staff for their dedication and commitment towards making the school a safe, secure and congenial place for their education. The function concluded with the national anthem.
