MENDHAR, Dec 1: Shaheed Manjit Singh Club defeated District Police team in the summit clash to lift the title trophy of the Shaheed Manjit Singh Inter-District Volleyball Championship, organized by Romeo Force at OP Hill Stadium, here today.
Pulwama-B team clinched third place in the championship.
The four day long Inter-District Volleyball Competition today concluded with a grand closing ceremony which was attended by Choudhary Javid Ahmed Rana, Dy Chairman, Legislative Council (J&K), Brig NR Indurkar, Cdr 6 Sect RR &, Rajesh Anand, Astt Gen Manager, SBI Zonal office, Jammu and many other prominent Civil, Military, Police Officials.
This Volleyball tournament was organized by Directorate of Youth Services and Sports, J&K State with active support from the civil administration and all local army units of Mendhar.
42 teams from across the State participated in this mega event..
Chief guest distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams on the occasion.
