JAMMU, May 27: A deputation of Latti Development Committee (LDC) led by its chairman called on Director School Education (DSE) Jammu, Ashok Sharma in his office Chamber and projected the local issues.
The deputation led by its Chairman and Sarpanch Latti, Kasturi Lal Gupta submitted a memorandum and discussed the issues related to shortage of staff, subject Lecturers and introduction of some new subjects.
During the meeting Gupta said that Information Practices Subject at 10 Plus Level was operational in Govt HSS Latti but this has been discontinued this session due to the reason best know to the district authorities. He demanded that IP subject be continued at this Higher Secondary School. He further demanded that shortage of subject teachers/lecturers.
He also referred to the shortage of staff in Latti, Dudu and Panchount area and demanded that sufficient staff should be provided in these remote schools. On his request, the Director assured to visit this area next month.
