JAMMU, May 27: Lions Cricket Club (LCC) conquered KPL Veteran Cup-12 Trophy by defeating RSCC by a huge margin of 7 wickets in the final match of the Tournament being played at KC Sports Club Ground, here today.
Batting first RSCC made a modest total of 68 runs in 14.1 overs. Rajesh Khatri and Sumit Dhar added 14 runs each to the total. From bowling side, King Ji took four while Vinod Koul took three wickets.
In reply LCC chased the target in just 12 overs and lost only three wickets in the process. King Ji and Vinny made unbeaten 26 and 24 runs, respectively. From bowling side, Rajesh Khatri took two wickets while Amit Wali chipped in with one wicket.
King Ji from LCC was declared as Man of the Match for his overall performance and Rajesh Khatri from RSCC was adjusted most valuable player of the Tournament.
The Tournament was organized by Sanjeev Kant Sharma, Anil Ambardar and Sanjay Koul in association with KC Sports Club Jammu.
