JAMMU, May 27: International Delhi Public School (IDPS) Jammu organized a function in its premises here today.
Major General RS Jamwal was the chief guest of the function while Dr Meenakshi Kilam (Rector, Kathua Campus, University of Jammu) was the guest of honour. Nirmal Mahana, an eminent educationist and one of the management members of IDPS Jammu was the special guest.
The faculty members of the School, who work relentlessly with dedication and commitment to shine through and achieve benchmarks, were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Major General RS Jamwal said, “Leadership is all about making others better as a result of your presence and making sure that the impact lasts in your absence as well. Leadership is not a position or a title; it is an action and example.”
Nirmal Mahana said that the IDPS Jammu bestows upon the students, the ability to be the future leaders as the School don the mantle of leadership and make them in charge of the responsibilities entrusted upon them. IDPS aims for the spirit of unity and collaboration in the school and community for greater dynamism and effectiveness, Mahana added.
“Today’s program signifies the belief and poise that the school consigns in newly invested office bearers, and it is another milestone reached as it reminds us of the trust and confidence that we repose in our newly elected cabinet,” Mahana further asserted.
