JAMMU, May 28: Students of Ganesha Academy of Martial Arts (GAMA) participated in 3rd Open Asian ITF Taekwondo Championship 2023 and brought laurels to J&K by performing extremely well in their respective categories.
The players who got Gold Medals were Ayaan Tickoo, Veeraditya Badyal (from Kishtwar), Haseeb Imtiyaz (from Kishtwar), Sparsh and Santushti.
Silver Medal winners were Saiansh Bhat, Haseeb Imtiyaz and Santushti.
Others from J&K who also participated in the event and performed exceptionally well were Geetansh Thakur, Namika Mahajan, Haziq Bin Abdul Hamid and Shaurya Sharma.
The team was led under the supervision of Mukesh Thakur and Sachin Kumar.
All the participants will be facilitated with certificates of merit.
