DEHRADUN, May 29: Graphic Era, Deemed University organised Achievers’ Felicitation Ceremony 2023 in which the students of the varsity who set new records by getting offers of high salary packages worth Rs. 84.88 lakh were given cash prizes upto Rs. 1 lakh.
B. Tech students of Graphic Era, Deemed University and Graphic Era Hill University from batch 2023 were present in the function.
Speaking on the occasion chairman of Graphic Era Group of Institutions, Dr. Kamal Ghanshala said, at the time of depression when most companies of the world are facing losses, students of Graphic Era have proved their mettle by getting heavy salary packages.
Student of Computer Sciences Engineering from Graphic Era Hill University, Pooja of batch 2023 who got package offer of Rs. 84.88 lakh from Australian software company Atlasyn was given cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh.
Also Manav Gupta who got package offer of Rs. 56 lakh from Deutsche Bank of Germany was given cash prize of Rs. 75,000; B. Tech CS student Aditi Mittal was given cash prize of Rs. 50,000 on getting package offer of Rs. 49.18 lakh from Adobe while on getting package offer of Rs. 45.64 lakh from Amazon, four students of B. Tech CS at Graphic Era Deemed University—Ayushi Kadhiat of Dehradoon, Rishika Kesrwani of Meerut, Shreya Sharma of Ponta Sahib HP and Anushka Agarwal of Lucknow were given Rs. 50,000 cash prizes.
Similarly, Himanshu Devrani was given cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh for getting 25th rank in GATE exams while Abhishek Somwal was given Rs. 50,000 for achieving 93rd place in same exams.
Many other students were also given cash prizes.
A handout of the University stated that this year more than 3950 students of different courses were placed in international companies on good salary packages.
