Akriti, Anchal, Muskan, Rudrakshi emerge winners in under 8 girls category

JAMMU, Dec 5: Akriti Sharma, Anchal Mehra, Muskan Jora and Rudrakshi bagged first, second, third and fourth positions respectively in under 8 girls category, organised during two day long State Speedball Championship, which commenced at Indoor complex, MA Stadium here today.
In under-8 (Group-A), Akashdeep Singh, Atin Sandeep Wazir, Sumit Mehra and Abrokin Digra emerged winners, whereas in Group-B, Samrat Ashok claimed first position, while Hardik Pandita, Himanshu Sharma and Trigun Jaggal claimed second, third and fourth positions respectively. In Group-C, Aryan Khurana, Rohtaj Singh, Laksh Sharma and Pranav Sharma claimed first, second, third and fourth ranks respectively.
In Under-10 (Group-A), Aditya Pratap, Shourya Vardhan, Sawraj Singh and Daleep Kumar emerged winners, whereas in Group-B, Amandeep Singh, Hari Om, Suraj Kumar and Hanish Mehra claimed first, second, third and fourth positions respectively. In Group-C, Rudresh Sharma, Neelesh Adhikari, Rajveer Singh and Vasu Chettrti emerged winners.
In Under-12 (Group-A), Prabmeet Singh bagged first position, whereas second, third and fourth positions were claimed by Ajay Chib, Shivansh Raina and Arif Malik respectively. In Group-B, Abhishek Bhagat, Adeev Kumar and Prayan Singh emerged winners, whereas in Group-C, first, second, third and fourth positions were secured by Samarjeet Singh, Kartik Kannan, Vishal Sharma and Satyam.
In Under-14 (Group-A), Nitin Singh, Daniel, Sajjal Gupta and Gulam Mohammad emerged winners, whereas in Group-B, Manpreet Singh, Ritik Sharma, Atul Sharma and Samaksh Kumar claimed first, second, third and fourth positions respectively. In Group C, Rohit Kumar, Vikas Verma, Sahil Jawalia and Rishi Kumar emerged winners and in Group-D, Harmandeep Singh, Prajin Chopra, Rahul Kumar and Rajveer Singh claimed first, second, third and fourth positions respectively.
In Under-16 (Group-A), Suryansh, Ranjit Singh, Mohammad Rahil, Tasleen Khan emerged winners, whereas in Group-B, Gurmanjeet Singh, Ritik Ratra, Rohit Sharma and Mukesh Sharma secured first, second, third and fourth ranks respectively.
Earlier, the championship was declared open by Anil Gupta, president, J&K Kabaddi Association in presence of Chand Kishore Gulati, MD, Tata Motors, SP Langer and Vijay Kumar Sharma, retd DC Excise.
In the championship, around 400 students from various institutions are participating.
