Srinagar, June 4: The Indian Principals’ Network (IPN) today organized the IPN Confluence Nationwide Dialogue on “How is Technology Challenging today’s Classroom Learning and Teaching” here, marking a significant milestone as the first event of its kind in the region.
The meet-up brought together more than 75 school leaders from across Srinagar to engage in discussions about the evolving role of technology in education.
The central theme of the dialogue revolved around exploring how technology is reshaping traditional classroom learning and teaching methods.
The event aimed to provide a platform for school leaders to exchange ideas, share best practices, and discuss strategies to adapt to this technology-driven landscape.
The confluence featured two-panel discussions, showcasing insights from school leaders on the topic. The first panel delved into the diverse ways technology is challenging classroom learning and teaching, emphasizing the need for educators to stay abreast of the latest advancements.
The second panel explored the changing role of teachers in the technology-powered world, underscoring the significance of equipping educators with the necessary skills to effectively integrate technology into their teaching practices.
Eminent leaders from leading schools in Srinagar participated as panellists, bringing their invaluable insights and experiences to the forefront.
The panellists included Dr Farooq Wasil, former president of CBSE Schools Association UAE; Vijay Dhar, Chairman of DPS Srinagar; Bisma, Principal of SRM Welkin, Sopore; M.D Zargar, Principal of Green Valley Educational Institute, Srinagar; Dr Mehnaaz, Principal of Birla International School, Pampore; Umar Malik, Vice Principal of International Islamic School; Rajeev Choudhary, Principal of Army Public School; Rehman Warri, Director/Principal of GQ Public School Kulgam; Ishrat Tanki, Chairperson of PSAJK (Women’s Wing), Firdous Educational Institute Tappar Pattan Baramulla and Singdha Singh, Principal of JK Police Public School Srinagar.
Gaurava Yadav, Founder & Moderator of the Indian Principals’ Network (IPN), expressed his vision of hosting such programs across the country, believing that India’s true potential can be unlocked when school leaders adhere to the best guidelines and stay updated on technological advancements.
