JAMMU, Dec 6: Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) No1 Akhnoor celebrated Annual Sports Day with great zeal and fervor.
On the occasion, Principal of the institution S Karan presented the welcome address and highlighted the achievements of the students.
Colonel VK Singh, Nominee Chairman, VMC was the chief guest, who while speaking highlighted the importance of sports in present scenario.
He said that sports play pivotal role for the overall development of the body vis-à-vis mentally and physically.
Various sports events were organised, in which students participated with zeal and enthusiasm.
Later, chief guest along with other dignitaries presented prizes to the winners.
In the end, SP Sharma presented vote of thanks.
