JAMMU, Dec 6: PG Department of University of Jammu crushed SPMR College of Commerce by 3 points (8-5) in the summit clash and lifted the title trophy of the Inter-Collegiate Kho-Kho (Men) Tournament, being organised by Directorate of Sports and Physical Education at Varsity sports stadium here today.
On the occasion, Prof Keshav Sharma, Controller of Examination, University of Jammu was the chief guest, while Prof Dhian Singh Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education presided over the function.
While speaking, Prof Keshav Sharma threw light on the importance of sports in day to day life.
Prof Dhian Singh Bhau in his speech asked the youth to participate in the sports activities to keep their body mentally and physically fit.
Among others present were Mohammad Ayaz Malik, Physical Director, Commerce College, Jai Bharat, Sanjeev Jamwal, Nisha Kumar and Ravish Vaid.
The match was officiated by Gagan Kumar, Anil Kumar, Ankush Sharma, Sunil Sharma, Abishek Sharma and Ajit Singh.
