JAMMU, Dec 7: The students of Humanity Public School Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana, brought laurels to the school by winning 16 medals in the 12th State Matsogi-Do Championship-2013.
This Championship was organized by Matsogi- Do Association Jammu and Kashmir, which was recently held at Unique Public Hr Secondary School, Gadigarh, Jammu.
About 550 players/officials participated in this championship to hone their skills and vie for the top honours. 23 students of H.P.S participated in it.
Deepak, Tamana, Meenu, Navjyoti, Anshu, Shivani Sharma, Vishal Sharma, Wasim Akram and Shefali Atri won gold medals; Kuljeet, Insha Malik and Danish bagged silver medals, while as Pankaj, Koushal, Aryan and Parul got bronze medals.
The students of the school who participated in this Championship were received in the school premises by Gaurav Charak, Principal alongwith Anku Charak, Vice Principal, Pankaj Mehra, Jagpreet Kour, Jagdeep Singh, Akashdeep Raina and Ajay Kumar.
