KARGIL, Dec 7: To explore the possibility of attracting more tourists in Kargil, the Executive Councilor for Tourism, Information and Zanskar Affairs, Skalzang Wangyal visited Tangole village.
He was accompanied by Chief Executive Officer Kargil Development Authority Assistant Director Tourism Kargil and Executive Engineer Suru valley Division.
The Executive Councilor, who was informed that Nun-Kun peak base camp can be turned into a tourist place like that of Rotang Pass for snow related activities, directed the X-En R&B to prepare a DPR for the approach motorable road to the base camp from Panikhar.
The Executive Councilor was also apprised of the possibility of summer ski at the said site.
