RM College organises Inter-College Symposium

JAMMU, Dec 7: RM College of Education observed pollution prevention day and organized Inter-College Symposium on theme “Prevent Pollution, Save Life”.
Dr RK Rampal, HoD, Department of Environmental Sciences University of Jammu was the chief guest, while the function was presided over by chairman of the College Rameshwar Mengi. Trustee Rita Mengi, Principal PK Dhar and all faculty members and students of all the wings were present on the occasion. Faculty members of other colleges and students were also present.
The programme started with the lighting of traditional lamp, which was followed by welcome address by Principal PK Dhar.
The students of Hill People College, JK College, New Modern College, Handa College, Vaishno Devi College, B.N. College, New Millennium National College, Chenab College, NGM College, R.M. College, R.K. College, Sai Shayam College participated in the Symposium.
The programme was adjudged by RS Moza from RM College, Ashu Handa from BN College, and Sarabjeet Kour from Vaishno Devi College of Education.
The winners of the competition were Kafeel Ahmed from BN College, Vikram Singh from RM College, Samta Naraina from Chenab College, Harshleen Kour of RM. College of Education.
Trustee of the College Rita Mengi also spoke on the occasion.
Chief guest of the function, Dr RK Rampal in his address applauded the College Management & faculty for putting efforts in organizing such programmes.
Chairman of the college, Rameshwar Mengi announced the results.
The whole programme was compared by Priyanka Sharma, while vote of thanks was presented by Rajneesh Kour.
