POONCH, June 14: Toseef Tahir has brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory (JKUT) by winning a Bronze medal in Taekwondo Championship, held at Delhi. He hailed from the border district of Poonch and won a Bronze medal in 66th National School Games.
Secretary to Government Department of Youth Services and Sports J&K, Sarmad Hafeez, Director Department of Youth Services and Sports, Subash Chander Chibber, Deputy Director Central Jatinder Mishra and Joint Director, Suram Chand appreciated his performance. Toseef was trained by Rajinder Singh, the taekwondo coach of the Department of Youth Services and Sports.
