Volleyball coaching camp of DYSS in full swing

JAMMU, Dec 9: To prepare Under-14 boys and girls volleyball teams for 59th National School Games to be hosted by Jammu and Kashmir from December 19 to December 23, 2013 at Jammu, the 15-days coaching camp, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports is in full swing, here.
The camp, which was inaugurated by Director General Youth Services and Sports, Navin Aggarwal on December 4, 2013 in a well attended function, will conclude on December 18, 2013.
24 players, with 12 boys and 12 girls are taking part in the camp, which is being held under the overall supervision of Ved Prakash, Deputy Director Youth Services and Sports, Jammu and under the guidance of Sher Singh, ZPEO Akhnoor.
The camp is being conducted by the panel of experts drawn from the Department of Youth Services and Sports including Tariq Mohd, PET Poonch; Manik Nargotra, PET Udhampur; Amit Sharma, PET Udhampur and Neeraj Sharma, PET Poonch.
The campers have been selected after a series of activities held by the Department at different levels, which included Intra-Murals, Inter-School, Inter-Zone, Inter-District and Inter-Division.
