JAMMU, June 24: The 8 year-old, Avikam Gupta and 10 year-old, Anubhooti Gupta, both students of the Friends Dancing Institute Bakshi Nagar, Jammu, have brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir by winning awards at the Asia Pacific Dance Congress held at Dubai.
The duo, Avikam Gupta and Anubhooti Gupta participated at the Asia Pacific Dance Congress, which was held in Dubai from June 8 to 11. Avikam won first prize in Sun Junior Solo competition along with cash prize of Rs 21,000, while, Anubhooti was runner up in Junior Solo competition. They both won runner up trophy in Duet Junior event.
The event was organized by Y&V events Delhi in which 55 participants from different states of India, Dubai and Sri Lanka participated. The judges of the event were Bollywood Choreographer, Salman Yusuf Khan, Jai Kumar Nair, Tushar Kalia, Farnado Aguilera from Argentina and Varun DS Rana.
