JAMMU, June 29: President, National Rifle Association of India (NRAI), Kalikesh Singh Deo who is also the Member of Parliament from Bolangir, expressed his utmost satisfaction and appreciation for the Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association (JKRA) during a recent meeting with S.S. Sodhi, president of JKRA at New Delhi.
The meeting served as a platform to discuss various crucial matters, including the development of shooters, shooting ranges and the emergence of talented shooters in Jammu and Kashmir. S.S. Sodhi presented comprehensive details about the achievements and aspirations of Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association, along with their efforts to affiliate with schools, private clubs, and other organizations throughout Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh in the coming times.
He also briefed president, JKRAI, Kalikesh Singh Deo about the hard work, excellent performance and numerous achievements of the J&K Shooters which was highly appreciated by the president JKRAI who also acknowledged the Government of Jammu and Kashmir for their unwavering support towards athletes and shooters, emphasizing that the Union Territory’s sports policy has garnered immense appreciation nationwide.
President, Kalikesh Singh Deo applauded Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association’s efforts to promote shooting sports by nurturing and promoting the exceptional talent of shooters in the UT of J&K. He was delighted to witness the immense potential and growing interest in shooting sports within Jammu and Kashmir. He wholeheartedly pledged his support to JKRA and assured S.S. Sodhi, President JKRA and his team of the NRAI’s assistance in training coaches, players and other members to enhance their participation from remote areas of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
