JAMMU, July 9: The 28th Jammu District Billiards and Snooker Championship commenced in Jammu today. The championship was organized under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council. The championship was inaugurated by Sidharth Sharma, Chairman, Billiards and Snooker Association Jammu and Kashmir.
The organizers said the tournament has been organized after four years and they are receiving immense response from players as hundreds of players have registered themselves for the championship in the sub-junior, junior and senior categories.
The championship started today with the Sub-Junior category matches. Kuldeep Sharma, General Secretary, Zeeshan Ahmed, Joint Secretary, Ishuk Chowdhary, Organizing Secretary, Sohail Khalid, Treasurer, Vishal Abrol, Ishan Sharma, Ishan Chowdhary, Rakesh Sharma and all other participants were present on the occasion.
