Jodhamal School celebrates 9th Annual Day

JAMMU, Dec 14: Jodhamal Public School celebrated its 9th Annual Day “Rendezvous” in its new Multipurpose Hall with pomp and show here today.
Kuldeep Khoda, Chief Vigilance Commissioner, J&K was the chief guest and Suresh Kumar, Home Secretary, J&K State was the guest of honour.
They were welcomed by Vikrant Kuthiala, Nandan Kuthiala, Principal Trilok Singh Bist and Arati Kuthiala.
The cultural bonanza “rendezvous” was unravelled by the school Head Girl, Nayan Vashisht by her welcome address.
The “Rendezvous” began with the ceremonial lighting of the auspicious lamp by all dignitaries amidst reciting of Shlokas. This was followed by the School Orchestra with humming melodious tunes enthralling the audience.
The Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) All India National Song winners presented the item which left the gathering spell bound. Nandan Kuthiala, school’s trustee addressed the mammoth gathering followed by soul awakening Durga Pooja presentation which left all in awe, as the students of class one were so nice and spontaneous.
The Principal Jodhamal Public School, Trilok Singh Bist presented the Annual Report, showcasing and broadcasting the accolades and laurels notched by the students of the school in their pursuit for excellence in all fields i.e. Sports, Academic, Cultural, Co-scholastic etc.
A rhythmic dance drama ‘Alibaba and Forty Thieves’ was touching.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Pandurang K Pole, Special Secretary Forest, J&K, Sirinivasan, IGP, J&K Police, Rajesh Kumar, IGP, J&K Police, S J M Gillani, IGP, J&K Crime and Garib Dass, DIG, J&K Police.
‘I am Alive’ dance presentation by students of classes 1st, 2nd and 3rd was fantabulous and appreciated by all and sundry.
The chief guest in his speech applauded the staff and students of JMPS for putting up such a grand show and lauded the trustees for excellent approach towards imparting quality education for holistic development of children in Jammu and Kashmir.
