PULWAMA, July 10: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama, Dr. Basharat Qayoom inaugurated the District Level Inter Block open T20 Cricket Tournament at Sports Stadium, here today.
The tournament has been organized by District Administration Pulwama in collaboration with the Department of Youth Service and Sports (DYS&S) Pulwama.
Teams from all 11 Blocks of the district are participating in the tournament and the inaugural match was played between team Shadimarg and team Pampore.
On the occasion, Dr. Basharat interacted with the players and appreciated them for taking part in sports activities. He also hailed the services of DYS&S in providing opportunities to the local youth to spend their energies in productive works.
