GURUGRAM, July 10: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), India’s first smart mobility solutions provider and largest exporter since inception, today announced the launch of its sporty entry SUV Hyundai EXTER.
A statement said that Hyundai EXTER has been developed to reflect the tenets of unique exteriors, spacious interiors, advanced safety & technology, and exceptional performance.
“Hyundai EXTER personifies the qualities of India’s Gen MZ customers who are fuelled by the adrenaline of wanderlust and exploration,” read the statement.

Hyundai EXTER presents a fresh take on Hyundai design identity of “sensuous sportiness” with its progressive and unique styling, featuring-iconic H-LED DRLs & Tail lamps. The SUV establishes a new segment benchmark with over 40 advanced safety features and 26 standard safety features across all trims. Further, Hyundai EXTER sets a new standard with 6 airbags that will be offered across all trims as regular fitment.
The SUV is available with 3 power train options-1.2 I Kappa petrol engine (E20 fuel ready) with choice of 5-speed MT & smart auto AMT and 1.2 I Bi-fuel Kappa petrol and CNG with 5-speed MT.
Further, it has been claimed in a statement that Hyundai EXTER is available in 6 monotone and 3 dual tone exterior colour options including 2 new and exclusive colours-Ranger Khaki, Cosmic Blue, which are also available with dual tone colour options.
The SUV comes with segment best warranty of three years/unlimited kilometre.
Hardik Pandya, the cricketing youth icon and one of the best all-rounders in the world cricket, is the brand ambassador exclusively for Hyundai EXTER.
