JAMMU, July 12: The Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) today held a meeting during which the leaders resolved to speed up the membership drive.
The meeting was chaired by Choudhary Gharu Ram (former minister and zonal president of DPAP Jammu Central Zone) and was attended by Zonal vice president Ashok Kumar Khajuria, District president Jammu (Urban) Gaurav Chopra and District president Jammu (Rural) Balbir Singh Ajji.
During the meeting, it was decided to speed up the membership drive of the Party and have people to people contact to make them aware about the Party’s programmes, and the Party chief Ghulam Nabi Azad’s achievements during his tenure as chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir.
Important issues of the party were also deliberated threadbare in the meeting and several decisions were taken to take the Party’s policies and ideology to the common masses of the Union Territory.
