SAMBA, July 12: Stating that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi believes in delivering justice to all and appeasement to none, Dr. Devinder Manyal, BJP general secretary and former Minister, said that a glance at the programmes and policies of this dispensation stand testimony to the same.
During the public outreach programme “Sampark se Smarthan ” at border village Chak Chhataka in Ramgarh near here, today Dr Manyal said that justice to all reflects through ground work undertaken during nine years in the entire country, with J&K too receiving equal importance and share in all matters of development and public welfare.
“Gone are the days when successive non BJP Governments at the Centre and regional political parties in the erstwhile State of J&K promoted one family and indulged in politics of appeasement on the name of region, faith and caste”, Dr. Manyal said and added that in Modi era things have changed with Union Government focussing on real development aimed at bringing progress and prosperity.
The BJP leader said that with the change in power and BJP running Government at the Centre the entire scenario in J&K also has changed. It has been seen under Modi Government that be it Jammu or Kashmir, both the regions of the Union Territory have been treated equal in all matters and at all levels.
Elaborating the benefits given to the people of border areas at LOC as well at IB , Dr Manyal said that the reservation and construction of bunkers the long pending demands of the border residents were fulfilled by Modi Government in a very short span of time. The border residents used to face indiscriminate firing by the Pakistan side due to which it was very difficult for them to cultivate their land and people had to move to safer places during such firing. Since 2014 the borders are silent and Pakistan was warned to restrain from such activities. After 70 years the border roads are constructed at a faster pace and people are enjoying the smooth and safe roads at the borders. Providing higher education and better health facilities at their doorstep was another achievement of Modi Government.
Dr Manyal also met several prominent citizens of the border areas during this campaign.
