KISHTWAR, Dec 15: Friends XI outclassed JKP XI by 22 runs in the quarterfinal match and registered berth in the semis of the ongoing 5th Police Martyrs Memorial Cricket Tournament at Chowgan ground here today.
Batting first, Friends XI scored a total of 162 runs by losing 8 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Nowshad of Friends XI scored 34 runs and also got 1 wicket.
In reply, JKP XI tried their level best to win the match but failed and bundled out at 140 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
Nowshad of Friends XI was declared as Man of the match.
In tomorrow fixture, Sarkoot XI will clash with Friends XI in the semis.
