DODA, July 26: A Volleyball and Carrom matches were held under ‘My Youth My Pride’ phase- 3 (G 20) sports activities of Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council at Higher Secondary School, Khellani, Assar.
More than 200 hundred students of different schools of Assar zone participated and more than 500 hundred spectators were present during the event. 10 Volleyball teams and 9 Carrom teams in both boys and girls participated.
The final results of volleyball matches were Happy Home High School Khellani as winners and Higher Secondary School, Khellani Assar as runner up. Winners in the girl’s team of Volleyball were New Standard High School Khellani.
The chief guest on the occasion was vice principal Higher Secondary School Khellani; among the others present were Mohd Ehsaan Rather, Z E P O Assar Khellani and Vaid Prakash. Suraj Bhan Singh Chief Judo Coach /Incharge of old Indoor Sports Complex MA stadium Jammu headed the event.
The event was conducted on the direction of Nuzhat Gull, Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council under the supervision of Ashok Singh, Divisional sports officer Jammu.
