Exhibition held at KC Public School

JAMMU, July 29: Students from KC Public School have organized an exhibition on the Round Square’s key goal of “Environmentalism.”
Every year, students at the school work on a range of projects based on a topical theme that is founded on the six Round Square principles and the 12 tenets of the Round Square Discovery Framework (RSDF). These projects are done in all academic areas, including the performing and visual arts.
The exhibition aims at showcasing these projects in the form of a compact show for the benefit of parents and invited visitors. This year too, the exhibition was held in the basement complex consisting of school library, Junior School IT Lab, studios of the Art Arcade, School Art Gallery and performing art rooms such as dance and vocal music.
Vinakshi Koul, Deputy Labour Commissioner, Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory inaugurated the exhibition and visited all the sections in the basement area displaying students’ creative work on the theme of environmentalism.
A large number of parents also patronized the exhibition and interacted with students manning various subject-based exhibits consisting of working models, charts, booklets, posters and comic strips, Performing items in the exhibition consisted of a group dance, a group song and an Urdu Mushaira underpinning the urgent need for conserving planet Earth and its environment.
The students led exhibition was managed extremely efficiently by a sizable number of volunteers who enlightened the visitors about the Round Square educational ideology with its six major Principles and the relevance of the theme for the contemporary world threatened by the challenges of climate change and man-made disasters. Principal Amarendra Kumar Mishra appreciated the staff and students for putting up an excellent show.
