Jodhamal students shine at Int’l event at Macau, win Bronze

JAMMU, Aug 2: Three students of Jodhamal Public School (JPS) brought laurels by winning a Bronze Medal at the International Open Roller Hockey Tournament in Macau, China.
Daanial Butt, Dhruv Sadhotra, and Namish Gupta, showcased their exceptional talent and dedication on the international stage as they were representing team India in under -14 at the prestigious International Open Roller Hockey Championship held at Macau.
The Indian team exhibited their sporting prowess, securing a remarkable 3rd place and clinching the Bronze medal by an impressive victory of 10-0 against China. Despite the tough competition, Daanial Butt, Dhruv Sadhotra and Namish Gupta demonstrated remarkable skill, teamwork, and perseverance throughout the tournament, bringing glory to their country and school.
The outstanding achievement of these young athletes was attributed to the excellent guidance and undeterred support provided by their coaches, Kamal Anand and Ritish. Nandan Kuthiala, Trustee, Arati Kuthiala, Director, Girish Kumar, Principal and Shefali Sanwal, vice-principal of Jodhamal Public School appreciated the performance of students at the international platform.
