APS Damana holds Capacity Building Programme

JAMMU, Aug 12: Army Public School Damana, in collaboration with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), hosted a two-day Capacity Building Programme focusing on School Health and Wellness at the multipurpose Hall of the School.
At the closing ceremony, Brigadier Vivek Puri, Chairman Army Public School Damana was the chief guest. The insightful sessions were conducted by two accomplished Resource Persons Rohini Aima, Principal, Jammu Sanskriti School and Pushpinder Kaur, Principal, Army Public School, Damana who has extensive experience in both education and administration, playing a vital role in the school’s progress.
A total of 62 educators from 26 reputable CBSE Schools participated in this Capacity-Building Programme. The two-day workshop encompassed a wide range of 11 Modules each addressing the needs and concerns of different age groups, ranging from growing up healthy, emotional and mental well being etc.
The workshop featured interactive sessions, panel discussions, role plays and hands-on activities, enabling educators to gain practical insights and actionable strategies to implement in their respective Schools, thereby enhancing the learning journey and amplifying the advantages for children. Participants actively shared their experiences and best practices, creating a vibrant atmosphere of learning.
Brigadier Vivek Puri expressed his appreciation for the dedication of Educators towards fostering the comprehensive growth of students. He highlighted the pivotal role schools play in shaping the physical, mental and emotional development of students.
