Sir,
Comprehensive instructions have been issued by the Election Commission to all the Chief Electoral Officers for preparing correct voter lists / cards for the coming Lok Sabha elections and also to ensure that all the genuine voters are included in the lists giving emphasis to the entries for the young and new voters who would be, on the First day of 2014, eligible to get their names entered for casting their votes, both in Assembly as well as in the Lok Sabha elections. Commission has categorically mentioned the most likely errors which occur while preparing the voters lists i.e the voters names wrongly written, the incorrect parentage, the defective date of birth, quoting of irrelevant address or the booth number, names deleted from the concerned main list even when the individual is in possession of valid voter card.
We only pray that those dealing officials, who are thickly involved in preparing the lists etc. concentrate fully while working on the computers or on the printing machines do remain serious and work honestly throwing all the casual attitude, from their desks, far away, to ensure that the lists prepared by them are really error free and the general masses involved to get voters cards etc. are forced to appreciate the correct and honest work done by the staff engaged for this crucial job.
We wish that unlike earlier lists which are full of mistakes and have all the times annoyed the genuine voters because of the irresponsible work-man-ship of the dealing hands, the fresh sincerely prepared lists / cards should bring all the praise from the public, who always feel a big happiness after seeing their correct particulars and feel proud in casting their costlier genuine vote successfully.
Yours etc…..
