JAMMU, Dec 24: Government College of Education has organized Alumni Meet for the year 2013-14 wherein Galaxy of alumni attended the meet which include Professors, Administrative officers, Bank Officers, Teachers and many others.
The Programme started with the lightning of the lamp by Dr Koushal Smotra, the Principal of the College, senior staff members and members of the alumni. Programme was proceeded by the inaugural session by the Principal who herself is one of the alumnus of the College. In her speech, she highlighted the important stages of the growth of this Institution while pointing out the important achievements of the college in Academics and non Academic areas.
All the alumni participants also shared viewpoints of their times when they were the students of this College along with number of suggestions for the overall improvement of the institution. The students of the College presented a beautiful cultural programmme to entertain the alumni.
Finally Dr Raj Singh Narnia presented vote of thanks for making the programme a success. He also assured the participants that their suggestions for the improvement of the College will be acknowledged that and such type of Alumni Meets would be made a regular feature of this College.
