KISHTWAR, Aug 23: Conductor of a matador was injured and the driver was reportedly missing after the vehicle rolled down in a gorge on Gulabgarh-Kundail road in Padder.
Sources informed that the matador bearing registration number JK06-1474 was on way to Kundail and fell into several feet deep gorge near Thai Nallah. Only two persons were on board at the time of accident.
Though immediately rescue operation was launched and the injured conductor was retrieved from the gorge, the driver could not be traced.
A search operation by Police was launched to trace him but it is believed that he might have managed to escape from spot after the accident.
