J&K emerges overall champion, wins 32 medals

JAMMU, Aug 24: J&K Speed Ball team emerged as an overall champion in the National Speed Ball Championship held at New Delhi.
A contingent of 35 players from Jammu and Kashmir represented the Union Territory at 11th Sub-Junior and Junior National Speedball Championship held at Sports Complex, New Delhi where they won overall champions trophy by winning 10 gold, nine silver and 13 bronze medals in the championship.
There were 250 players from eight states who took part in the championship. Rajasthan remained as 1st runner ups while Delhi secured 2nd runner up position in the championship. Pooja Malhotra, Founder Patron J&K Speed Ball applauded efforts of the players and their chief coach Sunny Nanda.
The medal winners were Eklavya Mohan Bargotra, Hari Om Sharma, Natanshveer Singh Jamwal, Utkarsh Dev Singh, Shiv Rudhar Pratap, Shivam Chandan, Shaurya Veer Singh, Koushki Charak, Megha Pathania, Aryana Choudhary, Hitashi Pathania, Kashvi Narayania, Aahil Anand, Manvendra Singh, Sannath Andotra, Lavya Mahajan, Tanshiq Mahajan, Daksh Rasotra, Banshika Rasotralpsk), Sushant Thakur, Kapish Dogra, Ayush Sharma, Shivam Lachiyale, Rehaan, Prafful Kumar, Tanmay Verma, Ishant Manhotra, Divanshu Tandan, Jaspreet Singh, Sayam Gupta, Mohd Arshad, and Dhruv Choudhary.
