UDHAMPUR, Aug 25: A district level Inter Zonal Tournament for Boys and Girls Under-14 and Under-17 age categories in the discipline of Cricket were held at Subhash Stadium, here today.
The tournament is being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Udhampur under the overall guidance of District Youth Services and Sports officer Udhampur and under the supervision of Zonal Physical Education Officer Udhampur, Chenani Jyoti Rani.
Youth Services and Sports Officer Udhampur Romesh Chander Mishra was the chief guest. He interacted with all the participants and field staff in the presence of ZPEO Kulwanta, Mahraj Krishan Pandit.
The results of cricket matches are in under-14 boys Udhampur defeated Chenani by 10 runs and in under-17 girls Udhampur defeated Chenani by 34 runs while in under 17 boys Udhampur defeated Chenani by 17 runs.
All the matches were officiated by technical panel of officials of Department of Youth Services & Sports Udhampur, Rakesh Khajuria, Raman Kumar, Vinod Khajuria, Ranjeet Singh, Pooja Sharma, Kapil Kumar, Ashok Sharma, Pankaj Bhardwaj, Amit Kumar and Surjeet Singh.
