JAMMU, Aug 25: Devansh Moudgil, student of B.Tech, Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, Solan, Himachal Pradesh brought laurels to his University and State of Himachal Pradesh by excelling in Rifle Shooting at National Level competitions.
He was declared a ‘Renowned Shot’ in 65th National Shooting Championship held in Thiruvananthapuram in January 2023 and recently he secured 6th position in 42nd North Zone Shooting Championship held at Delhi.
Deputy Chief Engineer, Manoj Sharma, who is also an employee of Jaypee Group, mentioned that he is excited about the achievement of his son and looking forward for more laurels to the JUIT. Major General (Retd.) Rakesh Bassi, Registrar and dean of students, JUIT has also applauded Devansh for his achievement. Prof Rajendra Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor of JUIT and Professor Tiratha Raj Singh, Media In-charge of JUIT also appreciated Devansh and his father for the accomplishment.
