Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Tourney

SRINAGAR, Aug 26: In an ongoing Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Tournament Srinagar hockey team defeated Ganderbal by 3-1 here today.
Arunpreet Singh from Srinagar was declared as man of the match. The tournament has been sponsored by the Indian Army under the aegis of Hockey J&K in collaboration with J&K Sports Council at Hockey Stadium, Polo View, Srinagar here today where Muzaffar Ahmed Shah, SSP Traffic Srinagar was the chief guest.
Major Indermeet Singh, Lt Col Keerti Kumar, Gurdeep Singh Sangral, Avtar Singh Bakshi, Rafiq Munshi (Executive member Hockey, J&K), G.S Bakshi among others were present.
